Journaling My Journey as a Doctor

I'm a week away from starting my dream job. It took me longer than most to get here, despite my "troubled childhood", my distractions, or my incompetence, I've finally made it to this point. I'm a doctor, junior trainee, houseman, first year resident, bottom of the food chain but a doctor nontheless.

As i'm preparing myself to face this new chapter of my life. I've decided to journal the process, will I ever comeback and read my old entries in the future? I guess we'll have to find out. Why go through the process of journaling?

Journaling gives you accountability, I'm hoping that by going back and referring to old cases or incidents which i've encountered and get a somewhat more accurate recollection of events. So often we lie to ourselves what how we spent out time or what mistakes we've done or what we've achieved. I'm hoping this overcomes that

Journaling gives you clarity, i have to find time and a space to sit down everyday or every week(we'll see) and review the day/week and I hope this will give me exponential growth.

Journaling is therapeutic, or so I'm told. I'm hoping this would be my outlet of rage and frustration if it ever builds up too much. Probably then I'd complain less if I ever do any complaining at all.
